Laust is Senior Advocacy Adviser for Save the Children Denmark, working to ensure children’s rights, in accordance with the UN Convention of the Right of the Child, in Danish and international legislation and administration practices. He is also the chairman of Globalt Fokus, a Danish platform for 80 Danish unions and civil society organisations engaged in international development, environmental and humanitarian activities.
Laust is also the former Head of Secretariat in Concord Denmark, a union of more than 1.800 European development and humanitarian organisations.
Trine works as a consultant for Red Cross Asylum in Denmark. Prior to her current position, she has worked within sales, marketing and business development for the past 15 years. Trine’s creative mindset and professional skills regarding optimization, communication and marketing are put to work to ensure Turning Tables does its best to help and empower children and youth around the world.

Vice Chair Woman
Maria Tarp is an international affairs professional with extensive experience in management; negotiations; strategy development and implementation; public diplomacy; policy advocacy; and climate and energy policy. Maria is currently heading the international department at the Danish ministry of energy and climate. Previously working for the ministry of foreign affairs with postings in Afghanistan and New York.
Morten Christiansen is CEO of the telco 3. Morten was previously COO of the telco Orange and CEO of the media agency Carat Danmark.
Thomas Gammeltoft-Hansen has a long-standing experience working to combine research and practical interventions in the field of human rights. He has worked as research director at both the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law in Lund, Sweden and the The Danish Institute for Human Rights. As an expert on migration and refugees, he is an often used commentator in Nordic and international newspapers, and regularly serves as advisor to governments, NGOs and international organisations. Thomas Is a skilled Cellist and has done a number of projects linking research to visual art projects, music events and developed theatre projects based on his research. In his daily work, Thomas is professor with special responsibilities in migration and refugee law at the University of Copenhagen. He also holds a part-time professorship at the University of Oslo, is honorary professor at Aarhus University and this autumn will be taking up the Sergio Vieira the Mello visiting chair at PUC University in Brazil.
Thomas had previously served on the Swedish board of Turning Tables. He is also board member of the Danish Peace and Ecology Foundation as well as Paradox Intertainment.
Gro Therp has been working as a casting director since 1998, and is the co-founder of ArtCast. Her main focus is facilitating hybrids between documentary and fiction based on outreach field work empowering real people to become on screen actors.
Using anthropologic fieldwork, for casting, working in subcultures, minorities, urban scenes, and ghettos, all over Denmark.
